This week, students went to Target and worked on an activity with finding items by letter and talking about/writing about/drawing what the item is used for (the function).
The CBL department had a busy week this week! On our weekly community trip we went to Frame Park. On our walk there, we saw the river, ducks, flowers, and community signs! On Thursday, our 7th graders went to the Fox River on a science field trip, and our 6th graders went to the Milwaukee Public Museum on a social studies field trip!
This week, students enjoyed time outdoors. They practiced reading signs to understand the rules of the Boardwalk. They practiced using their senses to make observations: sight and hearing.
Students saw 7 species of birds, marsh, and some turtles! They heard frogs making sounds, birds chirping, and city sounds like a garbage truck nearby. Check out the photos below! |
